Real Men of BAMFness: Simon Buckden

Simon Buckden is a UK Military Veteran who served in the British Army for 12 years and was Medically Discharged in 2001 with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder relating to his Service in War. He is running 100 Marathons in 100 consecutive weeks, finishing in January 2013, in an effort to raise money and awareness for “Help 4 Heroes.” The Marathons will be either in official events such as the London Marathon, on Treadmills in Fitness First Gyms and on measured courses within Parks in the UK. Please see the Facebook Page for up to date details. Help 4 Heroes charity was launched in October 2007 in order to provide direct, practical support to those wounded, sick or injured in the line of duty since 9/11.
