After two great years, I am setting out to do what would have been called in ye olde times “seeking my fortune.” A part of seeking one’s fortune was generally finding someone who you could apprentice yourself to. I am lucky for 2008 to have two great companies that have taken me under their wing – Felt Bicycles (bicycles) & Zipp Speed Weaponry (wheels, aerobars, and assorted other things made of carbon fiber that go fast). These companies both have fantastic engineering pedigrees, and I’m excited to learn a lot as well as hopefully giving something back to them.
I’ll be riding a Felt DA for racing and an F1 for training. I’ll be racing on Zipp 999 clinchers and training on the Team CSC wheelset. I’ll also be using Zipp’s Vuka aerobar and VumaQuad crankset.
I’m looking forward to a great 2008!
