Photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s exhibit Earth From Above, which consists of large format (4′ x 6′ prints) of images taken by extremely powerful satellite cameras is making a tour of the US, starting in NYC. The link contains a small preview of 10 images from the exhibit. When I first found it, there were 38, but they reduced the total at the behest of the exhibit coordinator. If you are interested, Arthus-Bertrand has many more pictures available on his own website. Or, if you are in NYC, you can go see it yourself at the World Financial Center Plaza and along the Battery Park City Esplanade from May 1, 2009 to June 28, 2009 (so a ways away). The picture below was my favorite.
