For the month of November, I’ve hung up my road wheels and have been hitting the trails at the Hartland-Mt. Work Recreation Area, known fondly as “The Dump,” for its close proximity to the Hartland Landfill. It’s pretty awesome mountain biking, and riding here in the wet sure beats grinding it on the road. As you can see, it’s a little bit muddy in there. Thankfully, that is why washing machines were invented. And hoses. And soap. And more soap. And maybe some more soap.
