I got an email that there is a new half-ironman (the first in Westchester County?) taking place around Croton. The course takes you on some of my favorite training venues. It’d be a bit much to take on the race for me this year, but what a great location for a race. The bike course especially ought to be really spectacular. A fair chunk of the course winds around the very roads I used to use to prep for half distance races.
