Here’s a teaser: Upon hearing that his obituary had been published in the New York Journal, Mark Twain famously quipped that, “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” My obituary was never published, but I was pretty darn close to it. Most of the doctors estimated that I was less than three minutes away. And, for a while, I certainly felt like if someone had reported it, it certainly wouldn’t have been much of an exaggeration.
